Friend or Stumbling Block?
I was reading Oswald Chambers this morning and in short it was saying sometimes people needed to go through really tough times in order to find Jesus. That my role as a friend is not to step in and get in the way and alleviate a struggle that someone needs to do on their own. This really messes with my tendency to be sympathetic and play savior. It really goes against what I have been taught to do. I think it is a fine line between helping a brother/sister in need, versus robbing God of developing someone’s character. I say all this because I have a friend that is struggling with their identity and I want to jump in and solve it. I think at this point it is their journey to walk out alone. I will stand with them, yet not in their way.

Oswald is fantastic! He always challenges my discipleship to Christ.
Regarding that March 25th MUFHH entry, it is often difficult to allow God to do His spiritual work in someone else's life...but I am encouraged for His work goes deep. I find I am most tempted to intercede for God in this way as a parent. But I have learned God is a better teacher than I am!

Hey, that's awesome. I found myself in that position just today. I had been praying for some sort of sign that would help me with what to do about a friend of mine. Thanks for the great advice, and those words truely are an answer to prayer. God bless!

I was chatting to this girl about a hat that she was wearing and she proudly proclaimed that she got it at a conference about christ or god or something like that and she told me about your cult and i thought it would be really interesting to read up on it and see what you guys were all about and i have to say what I have seen is quite interesting to say the least, but i wish you the best of luck in helping people in whatever way you folks do because as I told this girl its good to believe in something whether it be God or a faith in something better nameless faith. so best of luck with the childbirth because children are great to brainwash!!!
