My heart and prayers are with you. I miss my mom so much even though I know she is with JESUS. It has been 3 years since my mom passed away. I can feel your loss and am praying for you. God is with us even during these times. Knowing the Lord is the one thing that I know will allow us to see our mom's again.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know what it is like to lose a parent suddenly with no warning at all. I know it is a confusing time in your life right now, especially since you are about to have your first child. Just know that she will always be with you and she sees everything going on. I know my father sees me growing up into a mature woman, I know he was at my wedding a year ago. There is not a doubt in my head that he can still be here with me when I need him. It's just sometimes hard to listen for him. I have moments when I have no idea how I made it this far. But you will laugh again, you will cry again, you will have times of great joy, and times of great sadness....That is the way of the world. I have not been here in a while to this website, I have not heard what Ryan had to say about this....I remember he posted Ecclesiasties....I don't know if that is the one about "For Every Season, a time of love, a time of hate"...but that is very true in life....It will get better, eventually you will not cry all the time....but it has been 12 years since my father died and he is still a missing piece in my life....I don't know if you ever really get over it, but you live life knowing you will see them again and they can see you all the time while you are waiting to see them....I don't know if I have helped or made things worse for you, I want to have helped....If you ever need to talk to somebody I am here for you! I konw that I am commenting like, a LONG time after this incident, but I thought I would share an experience. When I was five years old, my mother contracted ovarian cancer. On her birthday after she contracted it, her father had died. That was on January 24th. On September 13th, she passed from cancer. It had spread so far through her body, that the doctors could not control anything. I spent YEARS blaming myself. Just a few years later, we lost a close family friend to cancer. Once again, I started to blame myself for the death of Bill and my mother. I figured it had to be my fault. I had thoughts of suicide. I know that it is hard to say this, but I thought about it. Two years ago, on July 19th, 2005, 9 Days before my birthday, My aunt passed from cancer while I was in the room. I could not stop crying. That was the worst birthday ever. I must tell you that in order to tell you this. I am glad that I did not commit suicide, because December 29th of 2005, I devoted my life to Christ. All I can say about what happened to your mom, is that she is in a better place. The Lord is there with her, and they are looking at you and loving every minute of it. I know that you dont know me, and I dont know you, but I care. God Bless You, Lincoln, and Ryan!
