Laura's coming home!!
Yikes!! I spoke too soon. Apparently Jonathan is a pinball wizard. He smoked us all on his very first game to the amazing score of 666,200!!! I concede the belt to him. The party was awesome and the fights were spectacular. Rich Franklin is the man. He broke his hand in the second round and continued to fight all five rounds and took home the win.
I’ve been a bachelor this weekend as Laura is in CA visiting her family. Since she’s pregnant all the family wanted to see her. She’s had a great time and I’ve been taking care of the hooligans (ie: the puppies).
I also got to hang with a bunch of my friends. Jonathan and I recorded a new show to be aired in the next week or so. I edited and posted the podcast with Laura (the best show yet). Friday night I went over to Steve’s place and got destroyed in Halo2 by 14 other players for a few hours. I’m pretty competitive at most things but I actually don’t mind getting beat at Halo. There were some awesome players there (including Jonathan). Saturday was mellow, I hit Best Buy to pick up some DVDs. Walk the Line finally came out and I picked up the special edition and have already watched it twice. I also picked up “Born into Brothels” an amazing documentary I’ll review after I watch it. Oh yeah, my friend Craig also called me on Saturday while I was still in bed sleeping off my Halo2 humiliation asking if I wanted to play some disk golf. If you haven’t played disk golf (or Frisbee Golf) start now. This is a great game that can be played by anyone. There’s even a Professional Disk Golfers Association. I used to play all the time back in CA but I haven’t played in years. We had a great time. I found all my old disks and we played 18 holes. We have a HUGE yard here in CO and I thought it’d be fun to play in my yard so I stopped off at Home Depot and picked up some supplies and made my own pin this weekend. I’ll post some pictures soon. Sunday was spent at church in the morning and hanging out with the puppies in the afternoon. I was supposed to go to the movies with my friend Mike Sunday night, but the weather turned nasty, the roads iced over and as the accidents started piling up I turned around and came back home.
Now I’ve finished cleaning the house (well almost) and I’m getting ready to wash the dogs so they’re all clean for Laura when she gets home. As of now her flight is delayed a couple of hours. She hates airports so say a little prayer for her J
God Bless,
Ryan

Pinball, Halo, high speed, gaming and intensity for life. No wonder your ministry is so far-reaching! You remind me of my youth pastor, someone I miss very much and who had a major impact on my life, shaping who I am today.
Wish my younger brother (also a Halo freak) had someone like you in his life as a role model. He might not be so influenced by this morally relative world that's making him rebel from the "straight and narrow." So glad to see someone taking a stand. Keep at it! You're doing an awesome job!

Hey Sled,
I'm totally down w/ Cash. Love him. We have 2 puppies. One is a 5 month old mutt (even our vet has no idea) and a 2.5 month old German Shepherd. Beanie (mutt) Burr (GS). We love them. I'll try to get some pix of them up soon.

Hey, just had to make a comment on the new site. I really like "Walk the Line". My wife picked up the DVD a few weeks ago, and I've watched it a few times. Can't get some of those Cash songs out of my head. I think his "Hurt" video is absolutely amazing.
What kinds of pooches did you get?

hi, I'm enjoying listening to your podcasts! now I see your blogs are up, and this is the only way I can see to ask a question, other than writing an email, so yeah, just wondering who that group is that was playing at the end of the March 10 podcast - really enjoyed that song! (I'd like to check them out)
thanks!
